We’re honored to take home 2024 Metallic Building of the Year—the most prestigious award in the Design Build Awards program. Out of all submissions across North America, our project stood out as the very best, capturing the pinnacle of design excellence, innovation, and construction mastery. This elite recognition places our work at the top of the industry and reaffirms that when we build, we build to lead, inspire, and set the standard.

Working closely with Haynes Group and Vision 3 Architects, BARNES has recently completed a new 17,000 square foot beer hall located in Medford, MA.

The new tavern-style beer hall, which has the warmth of a traditional German beer hall mixed with the industrial aesthetic of a modern craft brewery, has indoor and outdoor spaces including a 2,800 square-foot outdoor roof deck. BARNES supplied and erected the Metallic Buildings pre-engineered metal building system, which included 3 buildings along with mezzanine support steel.

Framing includes a multi-span gable symmetrical Rigid Frame, with roof purlins and wall girts. Roofing with 24 GA Standing Seam Roof Panels, and downspouts in Charcoal gray.
