REGENT’s new 255,000-square-foot Seaglider Manufacturing Facility is now complete and will serve as the global production hub for REGENT’s commercial order book, which exceeds $10 billion across six continents, encompassing orders from leading airline and ferry operators worldwide.

BARNES supplied the structural steel building system and erection services. The building measures approximately 300′ x 850′, with a 49′ eave height, providing approximately 31′ of clear height beneath the crane beams and 43′, 9″ of clear height to the main frames. The structure and deck weigh approximately 2,610 tons.

The building features a multi-span rigid-frame structural system, long-span roof joists, insulated metal wall panels, roof decking, exterior and interior stairs, exterior canopies, and specialized structural steel to support the crane system. The design includes provisions for two future 80′ x 28′ mega-door openings at the left endwall.
